The middle ground, for Bubeck, consists of recognizing that Satan is real and has real power, but can and will be defeated by the power of God through the Holy Spirit. Overcoming the Adversary is an insightful, practical look at the very real battle we are in, and it offers great hope, because it reminds us why we can be confident in our God.
